High Code School is a new online programming school for beginners and experienced developers, bringing together independent specialists with many years of experience. The school offers many training courses in different professions, so a solution was needed to differentiate them. The site must have a clear, understandable structure, as well as functionality for sending an application and calculating the cost.

Task 1. Formation of a trusting relationship

Since obtaining a full-fledged profession online can be doubtful, it was necessary to create a trusting relationship with the user. Therefore, an appeal from the head and leading mentor Artyom Pervushov was posted on the main page, and key information about the school’s teachers was also located on the landing pages.

When developing the design, we were inspired by the websites of British schools, which emphasize a quality approach to learning through a classical style. This decision distinguishes the school from the background of colorful youth resources, emphasizes the seriousness of the approach and creates a positive image.

Task 2. Clear navigation across all courses

To avoid confusion due to the large number of courses, everything has been divided into 4 main professions, which are displayed in the second level navigation and in the middle of the Home page. This allows the user to quickly find what suits him. Each profession has its own distinctive icon.

Task 3. Detailed presentation for each course

A separate page has been created for each course with detailed information and the possibility of payment and registration for the course. It provides comprehensive information about the prospects for this profession, salary ratings, mastering time, as well as guarantees in case of missed classes. Complex terminology is broken up with iconography and contrasting headings, making the information easier to understand. Answers to the most popular questions are also presented here, so as not to waste the user’s time calling the manager.

Task 4. Possibility of online payment

For user convenience and to increase the speed of processing applications, a calculator was created to calculate the cost of services with information sent to the manager’s email, as well as the ability to make payments online.

Task 5. confirmation of scale and expertise

A “Graduate Labor Market” block has been created on the course pages, where logos of large companies – partners of the school, which are interested in graduate specialists – are presented. This shows a comprehensive approach to training and assistance in future employment.

The school regularly conducts educational webinars and also publishes interesting articles from the world of IT. The “Webinars” and “Blog” sections were created on the site, which emphasize constant development, expertise, and also have a positive effect on the organic promotion of the site.
