Battle Bar is a cafe that combines a cozy cafeteria and a brutal burger joint. To attract customers and work with a wide target audience, an unusual solution was required that would suit different types of visitors: burger and beer lovers, as well as coffee and dessert lovers.
Task 1. Developing an interesting concept
Since the café's target audience is young people, the logo is based on the concept of competition. A “battle” has been created between the two areas of activity . At the end of the day, its results are summed up: the direction that attracted the most visitors is declared the winner. The next day there is a discount on it. This concept is reflected in the name of the cafe Battle Bar (battle translated as “battle”). One of the elements of the logo is a boxing belt, symbolizing victory.
Task 2: logo that reflects the concept
The logo is a combination of a burger and a cake using smooth lines. Despite the combination of two opposing elements, the sign looks harmonious, as a single whole. In addition to the main logo, 3 simplified versions were developed.
The style corresponds to both directions: a dark logo on craft packaging is suitable for a youth burger shop, a colored pastel sign is suitable for a cozy cafeteria.
Task 3. Interior design
The “battle” of burgers and desserts is also reflected in the interior design. The cafe premises are divided into two opposite zones, decorated according to their own theme. But the visitor’s presence only in “his” zone is not a strict rule of the cafe.
Task 4. Solving the problem of frequent interior renovations
To maintain the interest of visitors, the interior of cafes and restaurants should be updated every 2-3 years. Dividing the cafe into two different zones increases this period, since the client does not “get bored” of the monotony. He can choose the environment of one establishment depending on his mood and preferences.
Why choose between a burger joint and a cafeteria when you can make it a real battle of tastes and mood. Thanks to the elongated and symmetrical room, the cafe was very easily divided into two equal zones from the entrance to the bar. In both areas there are tables for 2-3 guests and 4-5. If necessary, small tables can be connected for larger groups.

Logos and interior of “Battle Bar”. Kursk, Russia
Thanks to the Victoria team for developing the corporate identity and brand of my Battle Bar. Initially, I had no idea that it would be more interesting not to combine the incompatible things, a coffee shop with cakes and a bar with burgers, but, on the contrary, to separate and create a struggle between them. This idea came impromptu during the first negotiations with the raccoons and I realized that I was in touch with the creative guys. Good luck and good projects to you!
